Our courses are all designed to support you to develop positive lifestyles and choices.

If the demand is high enough for a particular course, we may add additional dates. If you are on the waiting list for a course, you will be contacted to inform you of the new dates.

Developing Self-Esteem: 9 hour course over 3 sessions  

This course is designed for individuals experiencing low levels of self-esteem who may not value themselves or their opinions. This course will help to increase levels of self-esteem by encouraging thought and behaviour change.

Cultivating Mindfulness: 8 hour course over 4 sessions  

It is not always possible to avoid stress but we can learn to cope with its negative effects. This course will teach participants how to use mindfulness techniques such as breathing, visualisation and meditation.

Coping Strategies for Stress and Anxiety: 8 hour course over 4 sessions

The course will include elements of the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction model (MBSR) developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, and is specifically for people with high levels of stress and anxiety.

Managing Depression and Anxiety: 4 hour course over 2 sessions

This course is designed to enable people with mild-moderate depression and anxiety to develop their life skills. Participants will learn to identify the link between their thoughts, feelings and behaviours, as well as having the opportunity to learn and practice new strategies.

Understanding Your Anger: 12 hour course over 3 sessions

This course is designed for people who recognise that their anger is having a negative impact on their own lives, or those around them. It will provide an opportunity for participants to begin to understand their own feelings and triggers.

Becoming More Confident, Assertive and Positive: 6 hour course over three sessions 

Being assertive, confident and positive can help us feel good about ourselves and make our life easier.  This course will help you understand what we mean by ‘confidence, assertiveness and positivity’ and will give you the tools to develop these skills for yourself.
