Workshop overview:
This workshop explores the strong connection between physical activity and mental wellbeing. We’ll look at how exercise can help reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance focus. You’ll learn simple, practical ways to incorporate movement into your daily routine, and how these actions can support your mental health in the long run. Join us to understand how moving your body can have a positive impact on your mind, and discover tools to feel better both physically and mentally.
By the end of this session, you will be able to:
Understand the science behind the key physical and mental health benefits of regular movement
Identify the stages of behaviour change and be able to locate where you currently are in the cycle
Recognise your own barriers and identify personal motivations for becoming more active
Develop confidence in taking your next steps for increased movement and finding enjoyment and fun along the way
