Short workshop introducing strategies to feel more in control

Workshop overview:

Feeling stressed? You’re not alone.

Life can often feel overwhelming — work, family, money, responsibilities, and everything in between. This workshop provides an opportunity to understand stress a little more and develop strategies that can help us manage our stress and feel a little more in control.

During the 2-hour session, we will explore:

  • What is stress

  • Causes of stress

  • How stress affects our bodies

  • Strategies for managing stress

Workshop format:

Understanding & Managing Stress is a workshop consisting of 1 x 2-hour session. The workshop is hosted by our Recovery Practitioner staff and Support Volunteers, who will guide attendees through a presentation focused on the core topics above. The session will include elements of group discussion and will allow time for questions. Refreshments will also be provided during the session.

This workshop costs £5 to attend, which is required upfront when registering to join. This small fee helps support our continued sustainability in delivering courses and workshops.
