Mindful Monday
Monthly wellbeing group in North Devon
Join our monthly wellbeing group for a safe, supportive environment for relaxation and mindfulness.
Each session will involve relaxation techniques, breath work, guided imagery, and gentle movement, either seated or on the floor.
This group aims to provide a non-judgmental space for:
Self-check-in – bringing awareness and acknowledgment to how we are feeling
Moving through feelings by gentle movement and breathwork
Challenging our misconceptions and sitting with our experiences
Slowing down the busy brain
Practicing skills to support positive wellbeing
Group format:
We have a host of dates available for our Mindful Monday monthly 1-hour afternoon wellbeing sessions. The group is facilitated by Devon Mind Recovery Practitioner staff. Participants are recommended to wear loose, comfortable clothing and are asked to bring along a mat or blanket and a water bottle. You are welcome to bring along additional blankets and cushions for your comfort. Tea and coffee will be provided at each session.
To support covering the costs of running the group, we kindly request a voluntary contribution of £1 on the day, from those who are able to, and registration is required to join.
Please note: The sessions are suitable for all abilities, and the gentle movement can be engaged with either floor-based or seated.
