When Devon Mind services are open over the Christmas 2022 period

Devon Mind will be closed for a short break over this year’s festive period. Please read on for details of our Christmas and new year opening times, what services are affected, and where you can find help while we’re closed.

Everyone here at Devon Mind would like to wish you all a merry Christmas and happy new year! However you’ve interacted with us this year, we hope you have a peaceful and enjoyable festive period.

Office and contact line closures

  • Open as normal up to 12 noon (midday) on Friday 23rd December 2022

  • Closed between Saturday 24th December 2022 and Monday 2nd January 2023

  • Open as normal again starting from 9am on Tuesday 3rd January 2023

Both of our offices (the Mannamead Wellbeing Hub and Ernest English House) will close at midday on Friday 23rd December 2022 and will not open again until 9am on Tuesday 3rd January 2023. During this time, all of our phone lines will also be closed and emails will not be monitored.

Support services affected

  • Counselling service: all sessions will resume once we have reopened

  • Support groups: the OCD group has been moved forward by one week

  • Emotional support: all services will resume once we have reopened

If you are currently undergoing a series of counselling or emotional support sessions which are affected by our closing dates, your service will continue as normal once we reopen in January 2023. The only regular scheduled service that is affected by the closing dates is our OCD Support Group, which has been moved forwards from its regular date of Wednesday 28th December to Wednesday 21st December 2022.
