Plymouth Harbour Half confirmed for March 2023 — Sign up now!

Following on from the success of our inaugural Plymouth Harbour Run, the 2022 PHR 10K, we’re excited to finally be able to announce the much-anticipated follow-up, the Plymouth Harbour Half 2023. Scheduled for Sunday 26th March 2023, this brand-new running challenge is now open for signups at an “early bird” rate of £20 per person.

Background of the Plymouth Harbour Half

Whereas the Plymouth Harbour 10K invites participants to “run around the harbour”, the Half challenges them to “run back to the harbour”. Runners meet at Rockets & Rascals on Plymouth’s Barbican for sign-in, then get shipped off in coaches to the start point in Yelverton. Once you’re set off at the start of Drake’s Trail, you’ve no choice but to run back home! The full route map, complete with photos, can be seen here.

Whether you’re looking to make the step-up from 10K to your very first half marathon, or a 13.1-mile route is no more than a walk in the park for you, the Plymouth Harbour Half represents a fantastic opportunity for runners from across Plymouth and Devon to challenge themselves in the new year whilst also raising money for two fantastic local organisations — Devon Mind and men’s cancer charity the Chestnut Appeal.
