Thanks to BLOCK Plymouth for their support during 2023!

BLOCK Head of Marketing Lisa Brammer with Devon Mind Marketing & Fundraising Manager Andre Sexton

Everyone here at Devon Mind would like to extend a huge thank-you to the team at BLOCK Plymouth for supporting the organisation during 2023 as its official Charity of the Year. BLOCK Plymouth is a popular co-working space on Royal William Yard complete with cafe, bar, and 24/7 gym, in addition to numerous private bookable offices, open-plan workspaces, and extra rooms.

During our partnership, which kicked off at the beginning of 2023, BLOCK Plymouth not only raised £1,000 in donations for Devon Mind, but also provided discounted room hire and related services, promoted the charity at numerous well-attended events, and provided BLOCK Gym staff for hosting the official warm-ups for the Plymouth Harbour 10K 2023 and the upcoming Half 2024.

Andre Sexton, Devon Mind Marketing & Fundraising Manager, commented:

BLOCK was a fantastic partner to have over the last year, and on behalf of everyone at Devon Mind I want to wholeheartedly thank them for everything they’ve done in support of the charity. From fundraising at their own unique events to providing warm-ups for our Plymouth Harbour Run participants first thing on a Sunday morning, we couldn’t have asked for more from them. We hope to be able to work together again in the future.

Lisa Brammer, Head of Marketing at BLOCK, added:

Mental health is a vital issue and one that should be talked about openly and without prejudice. At BLOCK, we believe that everyone deserves access to the support and care they need, which is why we were delighted to have partnered with Devon Mind this past year, raising awareness, sponsoring events, and fundraising to help support their services in the region. We’re looking forward to continuing our support at the Plymouth Harbour Half in March. We want to take this opportunity to thank the team at Devon Mind not only for their collaboration this year, but for all the incredible work they do for our local communities.

If you work for a local company anywhere in Devon that would like to partner with us to raise vital funds and awareness for our mental health support services, please get in touch.
