Garden Open Day at Pentillie Castle in aid of Devon Mind and Cornwall Mind

We are thrilled to share that Pentillie Castle & Estate are generously hosting an exclusive Garden Open Day in March 2026 in aid of Devon Mind and Cornwall Mind. We invite you to support our cause and join us at the beautiful location on the border between our local Minds. Wander through Pentillie Castle’s historical evergreen trails, admire the first signs of spring, and soak up a moment of peace beside the River Tamar. With plenty of space to explore, relax or play, it’s the perfect day out for families, garden lovers and anyone needing a little calm in nature.

Saturday 14 March 2026, 12 noon — 5:00pm at Pentillie Castle & Estate

Paynters Cross, St. Mellion, Saltash, Cornwall PL12 6QD (map)

The 17th-century Cornish castle and estate is only accessible to the general public on specific days of the year, and we are delighted to be the first chosen charities for 2026. The Pop-up Castle Café will be serving a selection of delicious cakes, light lunches, and refreshments inside the Castle’s Dining Room from 12 noon on the day. The perfect treat for a sunny garden picnic or to enjoy after your walk and exploration!

Team members from both local Minds will be attending to welcome you on the day, and all proceeds raised from the garden entry fee will be split equally to support our collective mission for better mental health. Adult entry tickets cost £7.50 per person, and under 16s, dogs (welcome on short leads), and Friends of Pentillie members are free.
