Darts Farm raises over £4,000 for Devon Mind with maize maze!

Over the weekend, we were extremely grateful to collect a cheque for more than £4,000 from Darts Farm in Exeter. The farm shop, located in the small town of Topsham just outside the city, raised the incredible amount with its popular maize maze attraction during 2021.

The Darts Farm maize maze opens every summer to visitors and customers of the shop, with a different charity chosen each year to receive proceeds from entry fees for the attraction. Even with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic during 2020 and 2021, the Darts Farm team worked hard to ensure they continued delivering the popular outdoor activity. Devon Mind joins the likes of local organisations such as the Estuary League of Friends, the Exeter Leukaemia Fund and the Devon Air Ambulance who have been chosen in recent years, with a total of £4,114.94 raised.

Andre Pusey, Marketing & Fundraising Manager for Devon Mind, commented: “We are absolutely blown away by the amount raised by Darts Farm this year. This is one of our biggest single fundraisers of 2021 and will go a huge way to helping ensure we can be there to support as many people across Devon as possible. We have huge plans for 2022, including in Exeter, so we are incredibly grateful to Darts Farm staff and customers.”
