Today, we are excited to announce that popular Paignton holiday park Hoburne Devon Bay has chosen Devon Mind as its Charity of the Year for 2022/23! Hoburne Devon Bay – one of eight Hoburne parks in the south of England – provides self-catered caravan and lodge holidays at its picturesque resort on the Paignton coastline, providing a popular getaway for families from across the country. The park carries an “Excellent” rating of 4.5 on Trustpilot, as well as the website’s Traveller’s Choice award for its consistently stellar reputation among visitors.

Marketing & Fundraising Manager Andre Pusey commented: “We’re really excited to be partnering with Hoburne Devon Bay. To be working with such a well-respected holiday destination in our beautiful county is a privilege. It’s also really important for us to keep extending beyond our home base in Plymouth, so we are super grateful to the staff at Hoburne for giving us such a good opportunity to reach the people of Paignton and Torbay.”

Jacki Moor, Administration Manager at Hoburne, said of the Charity of the Year partnership: “We are delighted to be partnering with such a wonderful local charity to help bring the conversation on mental health to the fore with all our guests, owners, and team. We have already come up with some excellent fundraising ideas for the year and hope to raise around £5,000 in support of Devon Mind.”

Hoburne Devon Bay will be officially launching its partnership with Devon Mind at a Charity Fun Day for staff and visitors on Saturday 14th May 2022, during Mental Health Awareness Week. The event is free to attend and will feature a range of activities and attractions.
