Plymouth Harbour 10K 2025
Running for better mental health across Devon!
A massive thank you to everyone who ran, volunteered, and supported our third 10K community challenge event on Sunday 28 September 2025. 246 amazing runners came together to fly the flag for better mental health around the harbour from Mount Batten to Commercial Wharf. Thank you so much to all who joined #TeamDevonMind and came together in aid of our cause. We have been truly blown away by all of the support. We really couldn’t continue to provide our much-needed mental and wellbeing services across Devon without such incredible support from our local community.
We are delighted to share the four photo albums taken from the event, and a full video of highlights, thanks to Sean Clee Photography. Check out the stars of the Plymouth Harbour 10K below. A big thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers, David Sandwell, Matt Phippen, Will Blaik, and Wayne Dodgen, for helping us capture the moment on the day.

Reflecting on the event, Wayne Kirby, Head of Services at Devon Mind, shared the following:
“What a fantastic day it was. To see so many people taking part, with smiles on their faces (well, mostly😊) was amazing to see and experience. Having the finish line at Commercial Wharf provided a fantastic setting for the runners and spectators. The atmosphere was electric, with lots of energy, encouragement, and laughter along the way. The running events Devon Mind hosts are so important for raising both awareness of mental health and vital funds for the services we provide to people across our county. We could not have facilitated the 10K without the help of our main sponsor, Cattewater Harbour Commissioners, our incredible volunteers, and all the organisations that kindly donated prizes and refreshments.”
Thank you to our Headline Sponsor, Catterwater Harbour Commissioners, for supporting our event and joining us on the day with Team Cattewater.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to the local businesses who generously provided a host of raffle prizes for our event. As an incentive and thank you to the incredible fundraisers who supported our cause, everyone who raised £50 for better mental health was entered into our prize draw. The 7 winners have now been contacted.
