Join us this Mental Health Awareness Week for a skydiving experience!

To mark Mental Health Awareness Week this year, we’re inviting you to join us for a life-changing skydive at Dunkeswell Airfield in East Devon. If you’re up for it, why not jump for mental health awareness in the South West?

As always, we’ve teamed up with the amazing people at Skydive Buzz to give supporters the chance to jump for free when fundraising in aid of Devon Mind. All you have to do is sign up to join us on Sunday 15th May 2022, raise a minimum of £395 (it’s easier than you think!), then jump from 15,000 feet to raise vital funds and awareness and help the fight for mental health across Devon.

As part of our Mental Health Awareness Week event, we’ve even got a member of staff skydiving on the day – and it’s his very first time on a plane! Staff and supporters from our colleagues at Cornwall Mind will also be taking part, so there should be plenty of support to help ease your nerves. The theme for Mental Health Awareness Week this year is Loneliness, so we’d hate for you to be on your own!

To join us for this exciting opportunity in two months, follow the steps below to sign up:

1. Head to https://www.skydiveukltd.com/

2. Click the ‘Book’ option in the website menu

3. Select ‘Book a Skydive’ and ‘Yes, for Charity’

4. Find and select Devon Mind from the list of charities

5. Choose the 10:00 event and tick ‘Jump for Free Scheme’

6. Click the ‘Next’ button, fill in your personal details, pay the £50 deposit, and you’re good to go!

Once you’ve received your confirmation email with all the information and details you’ll need, it’s time to set up your fundraising page! We recommend the Devon Mind Fundraising Portal, which we built especially for our fundraisers with a host of resources and cool features.
