Support your local mental health charity for Payroll Giving Month!

Payroll Giving Month is an annual event that takes place every February when charities and organisations collectively highlight and increase awareness of the impact monthly giving can make.

Payroll giving is one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways of making regular donations to your favourite charities straight from your pay. You simply choose how much you want to give from your pre-tax monthly pay, which is then given directly to charity without you having to do a thing!

How does it work?

Payroll giving (also called Give As You Earn) is a charitable donation available for all PAYE employees and is taken directly from your monthly pay. The first step is to check with your HR team to make sure that your company is signed up to a payroll giving agency (PGA). Once your employer is signed up, you just need to tell them that you want to make a donation through payroll giving, and they will set up the monthly donations through your salary for you. Once the gift is up and running, there’s nothing more you will need to! If your circumstances change, or you would like to change or cancel your donation at any time, simply notify your employer.

Why should I give through Payroll Giving?

  • You pay less, but give more! Your chosen charity will receive more at no extra cost to you.

  • Each month you get paid, you can support the cause you care most about

  • It’s convenient and easy to set up – no bank details are required

  • It’s tax-efficient

  • Your gift can be changed or stopped at anytime

  • Some employers will even match donations

Why should I support Devon Mind?

Your generous gift each month will help us to fund our mental health support services for those who need our help across Devon. We’re here to fight for mental health. For support. For respect. For you. But we cannot do this without your support.

1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year.

A small gift from you each month could help us support the many more people now needing help with their mental health. By donating through payroll giving, you can help us plan for the future and expand our support services. As a local independent Mind, we rely on our amazing community to raise the vital funds to help us keep doing the work we do. Regular donations help provide Devon Mind with reliable support and make a big difference!
